Annabelle Tablan Rorabaugh

Global Immigration Consultant

I remember  growing up I have full of dreams, I wanted to be a teacher, a nun or get married to an American with blues  eyes and pointed nose.

I said to myself one day I'll be a nun or a sister in a convent and at the same time a teacher and be missionary to one of our Indigenous people on our area known as the Aetas.

I almost  became  a sister in a convent if I had not met the love of my life that brought me to my Immigration story. I was in my 3rd year College taking my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education major in English, when a dear friend of mine ask me to tag  along with her while she chats with someone.

I was so naive at that time and hate computers but I tried it out and joined the ICQ chat room. I've met several people one from England, Australia and here in the U.S.

Among them I chose my husband RJ or Richard John Rorabaugh Jr.

Ours started out as friends then he suddenly disappeared as the new term ghosted me. A few years after we met again this time thru the yahoo messenger.

He apologized for disappearing and 2 years after he decided to visit me in the Philippines.

It was supposed  to be just a meet and greet type and we ended up getting married September 19, 2002.

He thought spouse visa is much faster than the fiancée. It was in March 2005 I made my touchdown at the New Orleans International Airport.

My welcome party was a crawfish boil I've met my awesome and loving Gomez, Toups and Rorabaugh family.

Then RJ taught me how to become independent by teaching me how to pay bills, do online banking, he made sure that I am able to drive even though we don't own a car.

He also asked me to file for my own immigration papers from filing my EAD, to my adjustment of status and little did we know he did all that for a great purpose.

He was getting me ready for the most heartbreaking event, August  7, 2011 the love of my life passed away due to thromboembolism. That loss made me become a more stronger and braver of a dreamer to be able to fulfill my American dream.

The passion of helping others is already embedded in me from my childhood that is why I wanted to continue that desire reaching out to as many people as I can that needed assistance in their immigration journey.

I am a non attorney yet I am someone they can lean on as their dedicated Global Immigration Consultant. I will be their warrior in helping them succeed and achieve their American dream.
